How to obtain an ETIAS
An ETIAS authorization allows eligible non-European nationals to travel to Europe without obtaining a Schengen visa. The process of obtaining an ETIAS is entirely online. Here are the steps to follow to obtain your travel authorization.
Check your eligibility before applying for ETIAS
Before completing the ETIAS form online, it is advisable to check the conditions of eligibility for an ETIAS. The ETIAS authorization only applies to tourist or business stays of less than 90 days. Only nationals of ETIAS member countries can apply for a visa waiver.
Apply for ETIAS online
The ETIAS authorization form is available on the official ETIAS website. The entire process takes place online. Applicants must answer all the questions on the ETIAS form to apply online.
To finalize their application, applicants must also pay for their ETIAS online by credit card.
