How to renew an ETIAS

The ETIAS authorization allows a foreign traveler to stay in Europe for less than 90 days.

You can renew your authorization in just a few minutes by clicking on the ETIAS online form.

The ETIAS will be valid for a limited time: 3 years, or until the expiry of the passport used to obtain it. It is advisable to check the validity of the ETIAS at least 3 days before boarding your flight to Europe.

If the travel certificate is no longer valid, you will need to renew the ETIAS. To renew online, you will need to fill in the ETIAS form again. The procedure will be exactly the same as for the initial ETIAS application.

Will ETIAS renewal be automatic?

There will be no automatic or tacit renewal of ETIAS authorization. The traveller will have to repeat the entire ETIAS application procedure, which will be processed again as if it were the first application. All ETIAS questions must be completed with passport information valid for travel in Europe.

How much will it cost to renew ETIAS?

Renewal of the ETIAS application will be treated as a new application. The ETIAS applicant will again have to pay the full price of the ETIAS. Processing of the application will only begin once the ETIAS fee has been paid.
