The launch of ETIAS is scheduled for 2025.
The system will enable travelers from ETIAS-eligible countries to request an electronic authorization online before their trip to Europe. Applications must be submitted online via the official ETIAS website or the dedicated mobile application.
Initially, the launch was scheduled for May 2025, but the European Commission has updated the date to November 2025 without making an official announcement.
